WhatsApp gives users an ultimatum: Share data with Facebook or stop using the app

The Facebook-owned messenger with 2 billion users revamps its privacy policy. WhatsApp, the Facebook-owned messenger that claims to have privacy coded into its DNA, is giving its 2 billion plus users an ultimatum: agree to share their personal data with the social network or delete their accounts. The requirement is being delivered through an in-app alert directing users to agree to sweeping changes in the WhatsApp terms of service. Those who don’t accept the revamped privacy policy by February 8 will no longer be able to use the app. Share and share alike Shortly after Facebook acquired WhatsApp for $19 billion in 2014, its developers built state-of-the-art end-to-end encryption into the messaging app. The move was seen as a victory for privacy advocates because it used the Signal Protocol, an open source encryption scheme whose source code has been reviewed and audited by scores of independent security experts. In 2016, WhatsApp gave users a one-time ability to opt out of having acco

Why Is Garri Same Price With Rice (What Are We Experience Here)

It is no longer news that prices of produces are constant increase for this write up which will be more of a question I will be taking all my prices from the current selling price on www.daydone.com.ng As of today Garri is 25,500 in which an average Nigeria Rice is also selling for 25,500 even though the congo’s are not same but the price of produces especially our Nigeria well parboiled Rice has been on constant increase week by week.   My thought are - Is this a bubble or inflation is actually picking up? - Is this astronomical height of Rice especially something to expect to come down? - Or is the minimum wage changed the goal post for the height the produce have to reach? - Is this coming down soon after reaching a peak? - What should we expect this coming festive season? My Final thoughts ; as we know that agricultural products are essential necessity for the bubble to burst they might need to be an intervention, either by the consumer or government and by the co

HOW TO EFFECTIVELY SAVE YOUR HOUSEHOLD COSTS

Morning to everyone, if there is a skill that is majorly needed in this age and time, it is SAVINGS as everything is calling for our attention and money Do you know it is 5x more cheaper to cook at home in a month than collectively eat even 2 Square meals outside in an eatery or restaurant. I am sure this lockdown must have prove this to alot of people. Just do that math yourself An average restaurant eating a food that satisfy you cost at least ₦400-500 This amount doesn't include drinks and it is just an average eatery. While at home, it only cost a cooking fuel of about ₦100 if you are using gas and two cups of Rice ₦150 with every extra this will be more satisfactory and cost effective. I am not saying totally rule out ordering ready made food. This can still be done sometime But the pleasure of made a meal can't be compared to having it ready made. The most important do you know you save 10x money. Order food in bag than having it in minute quantity. Let me explain people

My Farmer Dream

I HAVE A DREAM My vision of a new Nigeria farmer is built on my vision of a new Nigeria agriculture. I have outlined some of the strategic actions we need to take to achieve the new Nigeria agriculture.  I have a dream of the new Nigeria farmer. And I believe that with all the initiatives and interventions I have outlined, that dream will someday soon become a reality.  I dream of a day when farming would no longer be regarded as a means of survival but as a business in its o wn right with all the potentials and possibilities that come with any other business. I dream of a day when graduates of Accounting or Banking and Finance would prefer to own and run their own farms rather than seek banking jobs; a day when young men and women who hold degrees in Engineering or any other degree for that matter, would opt for a career in farming, not because they have no options but because they regard farming as a more lucrative enterprise.  I dream of a young man or woman in jeans and t-shirt w
